Nice day trip from Billings locals like to go to lunch in Red Lodge.

The most spectacular Hiway in America.......
Red Lodge is where you can add 120 miles and about 4 hours by going up the Beartooth Hiway to Cooke City and back which makes this a fun 10 hour day.If you do that, you would want to take HWY 296, the Chief Joseph Scenic Highway through Sunlight Basin on the return, which would bypass Red Lodge. Make sure you fill up your gas tank in Cooke City.

Sturgis2013

prairie to plain to black hills, to plains to mountains back to prairie. You dont need a Harley to go to Sturgis and ride the black Hills. From Little Big Horn to Devils Tower to Sturgis, Mt. Roosevelt, Crazy Horse, Cody Museum, Beartooth Pass: has it all. Definitely a bucket list tour no matter which direction you come from. 2492 mi or 4392km [300 in black hills]

from western plains to Little Big Horn, Devils tower, Sturgis, Black Hills, Crazy Horse, Bighorn Pass, Cody Western Museum, Beartooth Pass, sort of covers it all. Fantastic trip, bit of everything. Great roads, few smokeys, wild weather.
