Pretty nice ride. You trail along the tops of ridges on good paved 2 lane highway most of the time. Lots of twists and turns but not real sharp ones. Mid-afternoon when we rode it and the traffic was pretty heavy. It´s also early spring and the bikes are starting to pick up in numbers. I got passed by 5 or 6 sport bikes while on my 750 cruiser. All in all it´s a pretty average ride, nothing special, nothing terrible. Lots of farm land scenery.
504 is a true taste of what roads in Eastern KY used to be like. Narrow, twisty, kinda scary. It runs along a ridge with some great views, but don't take your eyes off the road for too long! If you waht a real hillbilly ride, you gotta take 504 !
