My wife and I ride this loop ALL the time after dinner. It's 95% country road and we always get a great sunset on this ride that takes about an hour. Traffic is usually slim & that lets us cruise about 35 - 50 mph and enjoy the scenery of horse farms, ag farms, and just good old Kentucky back...

32 : Louisa - Rodburn KY - Gallatin/Owen/Scott/..., United States October 20, 2010 - 5.0
Rt 32 is a well know motorcycle road in Eastern KY. It's a clean two lane with lots of twisty parts and plenty of scenery. Easy to access from US 23 in the East or I-64 in the West. Stop in Sandy Hook for a ice cream on your way across.
US 42 along river all the way into Louisville. Nice river route lot of scenic rolling countryside. 42 needs a little work in some areas with ridges running side to side that feel like slight speed bumps at times. Other than that its an awesome ride and Louisville is a great town to visit!
I can't believe this route isn't in the database yet. This is a great road for an afternoon ride, but use caution as there are lots of houses on either side of the road and a lot of farms in the area (be on the lookout for tractors). The pavement is usually in great condition and clean.
504 is a true taste of what roads in Eastern KY used to be like. Narrow, twisty, kinda scary. It runs along a ridge with some great views, but don't take your eyes off the road for too long! If you waht a real hillbilly ride, you gotta take 504 !
This infamous highway has many high speed corners but is known for a large amount of accidents, I did not see any police but presumably there might be some from time to time.
A good mix of straight lines and curves with quite a few hills, some small and some large. Some of the curves are even 180 degrees. Plenty of farm land and a few places with tree tunnels. This route is very fun to ride and a lot to look at and relax
Red River Gorge KY - Gallatin/Owen/Scott/..., United States October 20, 2010 - 5.0
This is the loop route around Natural Bridge state park and Red River Gorge wilderness area. Be sure to go thru the Nada tunnel on 77 and stop for a great pizza at Miguel's on Rt 11. If you are camping, Miguel only charges $ 2 dollars per night. This route is easy to find from US 460 or the Mountia...
This is an incredible ride through rural Kentucky. It includes a ride through the Nada Tunnel and down into the Red River Gorge. It is located in the heart of the Daniel Boone National Forest in the Appalachian Mountains. The Nada tunnel is a 900' single lane tunnel that was originally built for a n...
Great road, with different types of scenery. This road has twisties and sweepers. I definitely enjoyed this road and look forward to the next time I ride it.
Starts and ends at the Speedway in Salyersville. On KY 1098, mostly good to excellent pavement. One stretch has broken pavement, about 3-4 miles. That section of road doesn't have centerline. Stop at Elk View for vista and possibly Elk. Lots of twisties!
US 62 is a nice route with a lot of twisties and elevation changes. There are a few places with great views, but keep your eye on the road because a corner is coming up! Really enjoyed this road.
Very pretty country side, with some gorgeous sweepers and some really fun switchbacks along the way, without being so challenging that you cant enjoy the view.
